Math Center: Base Ten Addition
Is it obvious I've been working on school stuff all weekend? It's nice to be able to sit on the couch, laptop on my lap, box of tissues nearby, and do nothing but tap and click on the computer. I've been feeling crummy this past week so it was a welcome bit of rest & work.
Here's a center I made for kids to use during math based on our recent work with base ten rods & units. Print on cardstock and laminate! I will add my base ten blocks, white board markers, and maybe some linking cubes for the kids to use.
A fun extension might be to add skewers and mini marshmallows so that kids can create their own rods and units. However, in my district, the munchkins would never be allowed to eat the marshmallows so it kind of takes the fun out of it so... LOL :)
♥ Thanks! ♥
